Titans Season 4: James Scully May Play as Robin’s Potential Boyfriend Bernard

Titans Season 4’s official images have dropped, and it hints at the newcomer James Scully’s potential role in Tim/the third Robin’s (Jay Lycurgo) life. However, it remains a big mystery as to what role he will play in the series.

The images give a first look at Scully’s role in Titans Season 4. By the looks of it, he could be Robin’s potential boyfriend.

James Scully’s Role in Titans Season 4

The series has added several new characters this season, like Mother Mayhem (Franka Potente), Lex Luthor (Titus Welliver), and Jinx (Lisa Ambalavanar)

Scully also joins the series in a recurring role, but the character he will play is yet to be revealed.

However, TV Insider seemingly confirms that the You star will officially play the role of the DC character Bernard.

Bernard is a high-level scientist who deals with “big personalities.” He, too, is S.T.A.R. Labs’ Director of Projects.

His arrival in Titans Season 4 was first teased in one of the clips at New York Comic Con. It was revealed that Tim had been connecting with a new guy at S.T.A.R. Labs named Bernard.

In the comics, Bernard is Tim’s boyfriend. However, DC Comics revealed that the third Robin is bisexual, and showrunner Greg Walker teased that the new season would set up a romance.

Bernard will be working with the Titans as they fight the dark forces of Metropolis. From there, he may grow closer to Tim, though it may put his life in danger.

The heroes will face one of the biggest villains in the series, Sebastian Blood (Joseph Morgan).

The trailer shows the new additions to the series and introduces the supervillain Lex Luthor. The biggest bad has established a newfound interest in the occult and supernatural, making him another main antagonist of Titans Season 4.

The clip also gives a glimpse of Mother Mayhem, Sebastian Blood, and the new setting in Metropolis.

Alternatively, the preview also introduces Jinx, a dark magic user who seems to have some ties to Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites).

By the looks of it, the new season will move in a new direction with its latest setting and villains.

Titans Season 4 will officially drop on Thursday, November 3, on HBO Max.
