Thor: Love and Thunder Star Recalls Beating up Tom Hiddleston for Loki

Jaimie Alexander might be a great actor but she's also very good at beating people up, at least in her projects. So it's no surprise that the Thor: Love and Thunder star was brought back to give the God of Mischief a sound beating in the first season of Loki.

But how did Jaimie Alexander actually feel about having to beat Tom Hiddleston up repeatedly for the Marvel Cinematic Universe series? The Blindspot actor admitted apologizing to the Loki star but also pointed out that it "just came naturally!"

Jaimie Alexander is one of the Thor stars who is confirmed to return in the fourth movie but it isn't Lady Sif's most recent comeback since she disappeared after Thor: The Dark World. The Asgardian had an awesome cameo in the Loki episode The Nexus Event where her job was mainly to kick the God of Mischief's ass.

"Oh, beating up Loki, that just came naturally," Alexander joked on the red carpet during the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder. "I was just like, look, I got this. I'll roll in the day of. Just stand there, don't move."

She then admitted that there was a little accident during filming where she landed a blow on Tom Hiddleston.

"I did land a hit on him once," Alexander said. "It was like a little love tap. I was moving a little faster than he was moving, and I made contact, and he fell to the ground because he was supposed to."

"I didn't knock him to the ground," she added. "And he got up, and I said, 'Tom, I'm so sorry.' He goes, 'No, no, no. It's great, it's great, it's great.' And I was like, 'He thinks it's great. I'll do it again.'"

It's great to know that Jaimie Alexander had an awesome time working on Loki and we're glad that Lady Sif could be back for good. With that in mind, we can't wait to see her in Thor: Love and Thunder next month.

Thor: Love and Thunder premieres in theaters on July 8, 2022.
