The Winchesters Season 1 Finale Teased

The prequel series, set in the 1970s, follows the relationship between John Winchester and Mary Campbell from their fortuitous meeting through the beginnings of a relationship.

The show, narrated by Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) of Supernatural, also covers the mystery surrounding their father's disappearance and the Winchester brothers' efforts to hunt down dangerous monsters called Akrida.

John and Mary have been through a lot thus far, and with two episodes remaining before the season's conclusion, it is unknown how Season 1 will play out. Now, a synopsis for The Winchesters Season 1 finale teases the significance of time as well as an "awkward" reunion between the duo.

"SEASON FINALE – John (Drake Rodger) receives a message from a mysterious stranger. Meanwhile, Carlos (Jojo Fleites), Latika (Nida Khurshid), and Ada (Demetria McKinney) work together to find answers, but time is running out. Lastly, Mary (Meg Donnelly) and John have a warm but awkward reunion. There is much to unpack, but they realize this isn't the time or place."

Is The Winchesters Season 2 In The Pipeline?

The Akrida have their own plan, which reveals that they are targeting Dean while simultaneously attempting to implicate John in Kyle's (Ryan McCartan) death. Given that the show concentrates on John and Mary's experiences and has introduced an evil not seen in Supernatural, this could be a setup for a second season of The Winchesters.

Yet, despite the story possibilities and viewer interest, The Winchesters still needed to be renewed. A formal announcement may be delayed due to The CW's organizational changes.

In addition, it will be intriguing to see how The Winchesters Season 1 finale concludes, and if it sets up a second season.
