The Walking Dead Spinoffs May Bring Back This Missing Character and Solve a Major Plot Hole

The Walking Dead spinoffs are coming, and it's seen as a perfect opportunity to bring back a missing character whose storyline remains up in the air.

Sure, the main series has ended, along with the major characters and their storylines, but it can't be denied that it has left several plotholes. That said, the upcoming The Walking Dead spinoffs may tie these loose ends, like with the possible return of Georgie (Jayne Atkinson).

The Possible Return of Georgie

Three spinoff shows are coming, Dead City, Rick & Michonne, and Daryl Dixon, and they may revisit past stories and forgotten characters.

According to Screen Rant, one character who deserves a revisit is Georgie, who only appeared in one episode but greatly impacted the show's future.

Introduced in the main series' eighth season, she was the leader of a progressive community and gave Maggie (Lauren Cohan) information that helped the development of the show's settlements.

Georgie's community helped explain Cohan's ninth-season exit. Hence, there are expectations Georgie will return with her.

Georgie's arrival hinted that AMC was creating a huge storyline, considering she represented an unknown location in The Walking Dead universe.

However, her only one-episode appearance made her a plot device used to improve the communities' way of life and provide a temporary, offscreen shelter for Maggie and her son, Hershel (Logan Kim).

How Can Georgie Return?

Georgie has the chance to return to any The Walking Dead spinoffs. Maggie revealed Georgie went somewhere in the West, so Michonne (Danai Gurira) could meet her on her journey to find Rick (Andrew Lincoln).

She may also appear in Dead City. Maggie and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) may turn to Georgie before they go to New York to ask for her help.
