The Walking Dead stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Norman Reedus’ spinoff series The Walking Dead: Dead City and Daryl Dixon are now progressing. As hinted by the stars themselves, Morgan is probably done filming, while Reedus has just begun.

Morgan and Reedus have left great marks in the minds of many through their roles as Negan and Daryl. Now that The Walking Dead is about to end after 11 seasons, they’re ready to start their own spinoffs, Dead City and Daryl Dixon.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Dead City

In a tweet, Morgan hints at the conclusion of Dead City’s production when he answers a fan asking where his “go hawks” tweet was, considering Seattle Seahawks is going through an eight-year build.

“Well… considering I just wrapped and got home yesterday? And only seen one game this year?” he wrote. “I got your ‘GO HAWKS’ right f***** here.”

Though he didn’t confirm that the show’s filming had just “wrapped,” many assumed it was because it was due to be out in April of next year.

Its production started in July in Manhattan and New Jersey and was only composed of six episodes.

So, what brought them to those cities? By the looks of it, only The Walking Dead finale can answer this question.

There are theories that CRM will play a major role in Maggie and Negan’s move to the Big Apple, knowing this group has been responsible for abducting the show’s characters, like Rick (Andrew Lincoln).

Norman Reedus’ Daryl Dixon

Norman Reedus officially announced the beginning of Daryl Dixon’s production by dropping a behind-the-scenes photo in a post on Instagram.

Though he didn’t give anything away, only showing a quarter of his body while leaning on a table and giving a thumbs up in the picture, his caption, “Day 1.letsGO!!” and his biker glove was enough to prove that his spinoff had started filming.

Daryl Dixon will be set after the events of The Walking Dead Season 11 finale, and he will find himself in France. Though the actor is yet to reveal how his character ends up in the City of Light, some think that CRM may also have something to do with it, especially when Reedus said Daryl didn’t go there in his own will.
