Fans are looking forward to seeing these two reunite on the small screen in The Walking Dead: Rick and Michonne, especially with the epic finale of the original series, TWD.

In the series’ final episode, Rick was seen wearing Civil Republic Military gear and seemed to be on the run as a deserter. Michonne, alternatively, was also on a journey to find the father of her kids.

"And in this particular moment in time, they're thinking about each other, and they're thinking about the people that they love and the people that they've lost," he continued. And without a doubt, I feel that we captured that spirit, and the spirit of moving forward what the world has in store for them."
