The Sandman Set Video Reveals First Look at Tom Sturridge as Morpheus

We already know that The Sandman is one show that is a huge mystery although we're already familiar with the source material. After all, the actors had been working on the Netflix series for months before the full cast list was revealed. Luckily, we're now seeing a little more of the DC show as a set video offers our first glimpse of Tom Sturridge in action as Morpheus.

Fans were previously treated to a sneak peek at The Sandman that featured Sturridge, Neil Gaiman, and Gwendoline Christie, who will portray Lucifer. Although we did get to see Sturridge in his costume, he was not in character in the video since he was doing an interview.

So what's Morpheus going to be like in The Sandman? A video taken from the set of the series features Sturridge filming a scene with a camera crew. Check it out below.

It's amazing how Sturridge has embodied the character perfectly as we imagine Morpheus from the graphic novels. To be honest, I thought I was looking at a young Gaiman, who basically fashioned Dream's appearance from his own. Needless to say, we can't wait to see Sturridge in action in the series.

The Sandman was developed by Allan Heinberg while Gaiman serves as co-executive producer alongside Heinberg and David S. Goyer. The series will also star Jenna Coleman, Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, Charles Dance, Asim Chaudhry, Sanjeev Bhaskar, and many more. Tom Ellis will not take part in Sandman as Gwendoline Christie will play the role of Lucifer.

For now, The Sandman has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
