Not only is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson becoming a household name in the Hollywood industry as an action star, but it seems like he's also making waves as a producer. He's definitely doing it all.
Disney+ is set to launch next month with a number of major Marvel and Star Wars offerings. The Rock is set to join the streaming site as a producer of a new series called Behind the Action. Johnson recently announced the new series on Instagram, saying that he's set to produce the new series together with the production company he made together with Dany Garcia, Seven Bucks Productions.
"As life long fans of Disney parks and attractions, we're excited (and honored) to pull the curtain back and showcase the ideas, secrets, and advancements of the most beloved Disney attractions in the world. Thank you, Disney and Imagineers for the trust to allow Seven Bucks to tell your story. Every magical #BehindTheAttraction detail awaits," the Rock put on his Instagram post.
D23.com describes the show as a series that will give viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse of some of Disneyland's most popular attractions. Behind the Attraction is going to present interviews with the Mickey Mouse House's Imagineers and all of the other creative minds that help bring these attractions to life.
Each episode is going to feature the storied history of the Mickey Mouse House's most popular attractions and how tech evolved in Disney Parks over the years. It's even going to feature special interactions with fans who love theme parks.
Aside from introducing these attractions to the fans more deeply, hopefully, the series will help increase the visits of the Disney theme parks that haven't been getting many goers lately.
Disney+ launches on November 12, 2019.
