People are already looking forward to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 but what can we expect when the show returns next year? Morfydd Clark is hyping up some "interesting villains" coming in the second season.

Morfydd Clark recently spoke to Collider where she discussed what happened in the first season. When asked about what to look forward to in The Rings of Power Season 2, Clark didn't share much but promised one important thing.

"What I can tease about Season 2 is, there's some very interesting villains coming," she said.

It's certainly an intriguing tease but it's also something that fans have already suspected. After all, people are expecting Sauron to find some new allies after he failed to convince Galadriel to join his side.

For now, it is unclear who will be appearing in The Rings of Power Season 2. Nevertheless, we're expecting Galadriel to see some major changes.

Morfydd Clark previously spoke about some huge changes for Galadriel.

“She’s about to have a life-changing thing happen to her. She’s about to become acquainted with Nenya, her ring. It’s really exciting to see how the magic creeps in,” Clark said.

“When we finished Season 1, the rings were being made and we knew it was going to be a huge change for Middle Earth. [Galadriel] is going to be part of that change because she has her own ring,” she added.

Peter Mullan, who portrays King Durin III in the series, teased that The Rings of Power Season 2 will feature even more rings.

“There are more rings; the show is called The Rings of Power. Maybe I’ll be getting a new necklace, who knows?” he said.

For now, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
