The Return of Superman star Choo Sung Hoon shared a story about his life and how he scored Yano Shiho’s yes during his proposal.
For The Return of Superman viewers, MMA fighter Choo Sung Hoon showed his soft side as a father when he appeared with his daughter in the Korean reality show in 2013. At that time, Choo Sarang was still a toddler who became known for her bangs.
Choo Sung Hoon and Choo Sarang eventually left the show after four years and started focusing on their family life in Hawaii.
Since then, the family has been keeping in touch with fans, with the matriarch, model Yano Shiho, revealing that their daughter would debut as a child model.
Aside from that event, Choo Sung Hoon recently took his chance to share how their love story began and how he proposed to his now-wife.
Choo Sung Hoon Reveals How He Proposed to Yano Shiho
During the May 11 episode of Lessons for the Groom (via Chosun Biz), the MMA fighter spoke with former speed skater Mo Tae Beom and recalled the time he met Yano Shiho for the first time in 2007.
According to Choo Sung Hoon, they met through a mutual friend. He explained that he does not believe in love at first sight, so it truly did not happen to him with the model.

"How do you fall in love and think about marriage when you don't know anything about that person? We got married about two years after we began dating each other. It took me about a year and a half to think, 'She may be that someone I want to marry,’”
As for the proposal, he simply told Yaho Shiho that he wanted her baby since his goal was to be honest with her.
The model then took his proposal and thanked him, and they got married afterward.
Choo Sung Hoon on Choo Sarang’s Future Boyfriends
After hearing the story, Mo Tae Beom playfully asked what Choo Sung Hoon would do if his daughter brought a guy like him in the future.
Without hesitation, the father said it was alright as he only hoped Sarang to meet as many guys as she could so she would have all the experiences.
For now, Choo Sarang will focus on her modeling career alongside her cousin, Hime Yano, and enjoy her childhood.
