The unprecedented success of The Mandalorian has allowed Lucasfilm to capitalize big time on the show's popularity and understandably so. Now, with the recent launch of Lucasfilm Games, rumors are once again swirling online that the next Star Wars game title will feature Din Djarin and his trusty companion Grogu aka Baby Yoda.

A Mandalorian video game has been heavily rumored for months now although no official confirmation has been made. Now, tipster Daniel Richtman (via Patreon) is adding more fuel to the fire, claiming that the newly established gaming company is developing a Mandalorian tie-in game.

Richtman adds that aside from Mando himself, Boba Fett will also be one of the playable characters so the possibility of other characters like Cara Dune, Greef Karga, Bo-Katan Kryze. and Ahsoka Tano becoming available in-game is high. Of course, just like any other rumor, take this one with a huge grain of salt.

But again, it would be foolish on Lucasfilm's part not to take advantage of the show's tremendous popularity. If anything, the company's debut title should definitely revolve around The Mandalorian as I'm 100% certain fans will eat that up. It's worth noting that several reports claim that Ubisoft is working with the company to create a new open-world Star Wars game. Could this be the way?

Meanwhile, all episodes of The Mandalorian are available on Disney+.
