The Mandalorian Season 3 seemed to tease a romantic connection between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze. The show's third season further proved that the two beloved Star Wars characters share amazing chemistry together and it definitely resonated with fans.

Last April, Katee Sackhoff revealed that Lucasfilm was actually toying with the idea of setting up a romance plot between her and Pedro Pascal's characters but nothing serious was ever discussed. Now, the Star Wars icon is sharing more details about BoDin's potential relationship.

Appearing at the PHX FanFusion convention (via SFF Gazette), Sackhoff confirmed what fans have been suspecting all along between Din and Bo-Katan, reiterating that a romance plot was in fact set to happen.

Turns out, there was a scene in Season 3 that saw Mando kiss the future Mandalore ruler through his helmet. However, the sequence was ultimately scrapped for reasons we still don't know, much to the chagrin of the actress who admittedly became more open to the idea of the two characters developing a romantic relationship.

Sackhoff shared: "The scene between Bo and Mando on the front of the boat is like our Titanic moment. Like, 'I’m the queen of the world.' I wanted to stand at the front of that boat. It was begging for me to do that."

She added: "There is definitely an outtake where Brendan Wayne grabbed my face and kissed me through the Mando helmet. It was quite funny. Brendan Wayne is one of the men that wear the suit. And it was really fun."

Unlike the Jedi who can't form attachments, Mandalorians are free to be with anyone they want so the idea of Din and Bo-Katan becoming a romantic item breaks no rules. It'll be interesting to see though if that's still the direction Jon Favreau is heading because with Season 4 focusing on Mando's new adventure, we'd like to assume that he'll have minimal interactions with Bo-Katan who is now leading Mandalore.

All three seasons of The Mandalorian are available to stream on Disney+.
