The Mandalorian: Hasbro Cancels Cara Dune Black Series Production Following Gina Carano's Firing

The removal of Gina Carano fromThe Mandalorian is undoubtedly affecting the Star Wars show as well as everything that comes with it. Hasbro has reportedly cancelled the production of a figure based on Cara Dune for its Black Series.

An email sent to customers by toy retailer BigBadToyStore has been shared on Twitter and it reveals that Hasbro has decided to cancel the production of the new figure.

"We have been informed by Hasbro that they have cancelled production of the Star Wars: The Black Series 6" Cara Dune (The Mandalorian) and will not be fulfilling our order. Unfortunately, this means we must cancel our pre-orders for this item," the message reads.

This isn't exactly a huge surprise considering that Lucasfilm might be determined to distance themselves from Carano after her removal. On the other hand, it might also confirm what will happen to her character in The MandalorianSeason 3.

Fans have been speculating about the future of Cara Dune in The Mandalorian Season 3. Although most are hoping that the character will be recast in the upcoming season, the decision to cancel production on the Cara figure might confirm that she will be killed off in the series.

There is still a possibility that a new figure will be made in the likeness of the new actress who will play Cara in the third season. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
