Robert Aramayo has a rare experience in his life, that is, being part of both The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Game of Thrones which are two huge series on television. He plays young Elrond in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, and young Eddard Stark in Season 6 of the HBO show.

Speaking with Variety, Robert Aramayo started the comparison between The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Game of Thrones, "They’re very, very different shows. My job on that and my job on this were very different. There [Game of Thrones], I was recreating the young Ned that we all knew and saw. That was the job."

Aramayo added, "Whereas here [The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power], it’s way more important to the boys - and this is what I love about them - for me to study First Age stuff, and bring the legendarium to the table in this interpretation." The "boys" Aramayo refer to are Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne.

Aramayo played young Eddard Stark in Game of Thrones Season 6 where he was also known as Ned, the Lord of Winterfell who stands as the head of the House Stark, and the Warden of the North. It was a smaller role in the show.

Meanwhile, for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Aramayo would suit up as Elrond, the role that Hugo Weaving played before in the trilogies of Peter Jackson. Elrond is set to be one of the most important characters on Middle-earth, an Elf-ruler from the First Age until the Fourth.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set on the Second Age of Middle-earth where young Elrond will witness the rise of Sauron and his plan of destroying the peace as he got the rings of power forged.

Robert Amarayo stars as Elrond on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power alongside Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Sir Lenny Henry, Owain Artur, Maxim Baldry, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charles Edwards, Sophia Nomvete, Lloyd Owen, and Nazanin Boniadi.

The star-studded cast doesn't end there, the series also has Trystan Gravelle, Joseph Mawle, Tyroe Muhafidin, Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Charlie Vickers, Leon Wadham, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Sara Zwangobani, Benjamin Walker, and Daniel Weyman.
