The Lion King TV Spot Features Donald Glover, Beyoncé Performing 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight'

People have been waiting to hear Donald Glover as Simba in the highly anticipated remake of The Lion King. Although we have yet to hear the new Simba speak, fans can finally hear Glover and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter singing Can You Feel The Love Tonight in the film's latest TV spot.

Fans had previously heard Beyoncé's Nala urging Simba to take his place as king in a previous TV spot and the reveal certainly induced goosebumps. Now just hearing Nala and Simba singing the iconic song from the animated classic is equally magnificent.

The original song was composed and performed by Elton John while the lyrics were written by Tim Rice. In the 1994 film, Simba, Nala, Timon, and Pumbaa took turns singing the song. However, the version featured in the closing credits was performed by John.

In addition to giving fans a taste of Glover and Beyonce singing the iconic song, the new TV spot features some unseen footage. We get a glimpse of adult Simba and Nala enjoying a sweet moment together.

The Lion King is directed by Jon Favreau and is scheduled for release on July 19.
