Gamers, be ready! The Last of Us Part 1 just dropped its new and official gameplay trailer with all the advancements that the remake got from Naughty Dog and it it everything exciting as the game comes back to be rebuilt for its PlayStation 5 version.

A whopping 10-minute official gameplay trailer has been released by Sony Entertainment for The Last of Us Part 1 remake for PlayStation 5 after various leaks circulated online. However, many players are curious as to why it is a remake instead of a remaster given the changes that Naughty Dog added to the game.

The official gameplay trailer of The Last of Us Part 1 features a lot of technical changes into the game such as how the characters act in stealth scenarios, new visual and environmental features increasing immersion, permadeath and speedrun modes, and the characters' outfits for personalization and customization. There are also new accessibility options.

The Last of Us Part 1 first released in 2013 as an action-adventure game released by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed by Naughty Dog. Joel, a smuggler who has to take Ellie through a post-apocalyptic United States, is the main character that the players would control.

The thrill of the game is that players would have to use improvised weapons and stealth to battle agains hostilities and cannibalistic creatures infected by Cordyceps in The Last of Us Part 1. It has a sequel released recently, in 2020.

The Last of Us Part 1 also has a television show under development in HBO with Joel played by Pedro Pascal and Ellie portrayed by Bella Ramsey. The series written by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann is expected to debut in 2023.

The Last of Us Part 1 PlayStation 5 remake is slated for release in September 2, 2022 and it is set to get a Windows version as well.
