The Last of Us HBO Series Reveals The Roles Of Each Character In New Posters

A day before their panels at CCXP, The Last of Us gets a new set of posters, and this time, it is for the characters of the show which teases the role of each of the cast and how they will be play a part in the story for the upcoming HBO series this January.

HBO just dropped 11 new character posters for The Last of Us which features the cast of the highly anticipated series with Pedro Pascal as Joel, the Protector; Bella Ramsey as Ellie, the last hope; Gabriel Luna as Tommy, the soldier; Anna Torv as Tess, the smuggler; and Merle Dandridge as Marlene, the leader.

Also among the cast with their own character posters for The Last of Us are Nick Offerman as Bill, the survivalist; Murray Bartlett as Frank, the optimist; Lamar Johnsonn as Henry, the big brother; Keivonn Woordard as Sam, the little brother; Storm Reid as Riley, the only friend; and Nico Parker as Sarah, the daughter.

While most of the cast got their posters teasing their roles, Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker didn't get their own character posters, thus, their roles still remain undisclosed.

With HBO having a big event at Brazil Comic-Con, it is possible that more updates are to arrive for The Last Of Us where the show will be having panels at the event, possibly another trailer, too, or teasers which could give more light to what the series would be about.

The Last of Us will follow Joel, a smuggler who would have to escort Ellie, through a post-apocalyptic United States plagued with the infected and human hunters. The series is based on the beloved game of the same name from Naughty Dog.

The Last of Us will be releasing on HBO Max starting January 15, 2023, and it is expected to release on a weekly basis. The show has nine episodes in total.
