The Last of Us Drops First Teaser For the HBO Series

From the beloved game of the same name comes the highly anticipated series of The Last of Us which will follow Joel and Ellie as they go through a post-apocalyptic United States. After a brief tease last month, the official first teaser of the show has been dropped by HBO.

HBO Max will be taking on new heights as they bring a post-apocalyptic United States to the screens through The Last of Us, a series based on the beloved game of the same name from Naughty Dog and it will be headed by Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.

The trailer starts with Joel walking through the crowd as he seems to be going through something. It changes scene into the post-apocalypse where United States is enveloped in darkness and buildings are overgrown with plants.

The undead remains as terrifying as in the game and the survivors do what they have to do in order to survive. It's a complete chaos and Joel and Ellie go through all those together. The teaser says, "Save who you can save." Will humanity do that or will it be a survival of the fittest?
