Julia Stiles as Maisy-May

The Lake will feature some of the best-known names and faces in the industry.

The series is led by Jordan Gavaris, who will play the role of Justine, a father who will do what it takes to reconnect with his estranged daughter Billie (Madison Shamoun), even if it means returning home to his childhood community and putting up his stepsister, Maisy-May, played by Julia Stiles.

Maisy-May is the “picture-perfect” daughter who now owns the childhood cabin Justine hopes to stay in. Things go awry for Justine when he comes home and discovers this, but he won’t give up that easily.

Gavaris has been in many projects that helped him gain fame. He may be best known for his role as Felix Dawkins in Orphan Black, a Canadian sci-fi thriller series. He also has many projects outside of Canada, such as starring in the American crime comedy-drama series Take Two and in another television series called Unnatural History.

On the other hand, Stiles counts as a veteran in the film and television industry after starring in various hit movies. Her most notable role may be her performance as Kat Strafford in the 90s romantic-comedy film 10 Things I Hate About You, where she starred alongside Heath Ledger and Jason Gordon Levitt.

Some of her other movies that cemented her place among the stars include her role in the American dance film Save The Last Dance, Mona Lisa Smile, and The Bourne Franchise.
