What Is The Plot For The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 8?
“Now that Shaun has called off the wedding, he is forced to confront Lea about their relationship and determine what he really means to her. Meanwhile, the team debates their opinions on plastic surgery and Dr. Audrey Lim hopes to expose Salen’s cover-up over an infant’s death to take her down before it is too late,” the synopsis reads.
But even though Shaun has already called off his wedding to Lea, it seems that the latter won’t go down without a fight. So, there’s still a possibility for the two to reunite sometime later in the series.
In the previous episodes of The Good Doctor Season 5, some of the residents at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital already had negative feelings about Salen. So, in the upcoming episode, they will most likely join forces in trying to take her down.
However, they would find an unlikely adversary in Dr. Marcus Andrews (Hill Harper), who is apparently in a relationship with Salen.
In the trailer for The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 8, Shaun walks in on Salen and Marcus chatting at the hospital office while holding hands.
The lead character didn’t have any more proof to confirm that the two are dating.
And when he confronted Marcus, Shaun asked the former if his decisions are affected by his relationship with Salen.
So, in the upcoming episode, fans can expect a heated argument between Shaun and Marcus.
Luckily, Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) is on Shaun’s side. In fact, both doctors want to take down Salen, and it seems they won’t go down without a fight.
When Will The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 8 Air?
The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 8 will make a comeback on ABC on Monday, Feb. 28.
The hit medical drama wasn’t supposed to return from its lengthy hiatus until the spring. But there were changes in the programming schedule on ABC after the Promise Land wrapped up.
Since there’s a vacant timeslot on Monday nights starting next week, The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 8 will fill in this gap.

Will The Good Doctor Season 6 Be Renewed?
