The Golden Spoon Episode 5 sees Seungcheon rushing to the hospital after hearing that his father, Lee Cheol, is involved in an accident. Seungcheon feels heartbreaking pain when he sees Taeyong holding on to his father’s hand.
Lee Cheol suddenly loses consciousness and goes into emergency surgery. Thankfully, he recovers from the critical condition, and the doctor says he will regain consciousness in an unknown time.
Realizing this is a punishment, Seungcheon returns to where he meets the old lady who gave him the golden spoon. Soon, Seungcheon returns to his body and runs back to the hospital to check in with his father.

Yook Sungjae Begs To Return To His Old Life In The Golden Spoon Episode 5
Seungcheon had the opportunity to miraculously return to his life with just one meal from his house. The old lady asks him if he will not regret his decision, to which Seungcheon firmly responds that he will not see her again.

Seungcheon begins to work part-time jobs while studying for the college entrance exam. A year has passed since then, and his other classmates have already been accepted to college.
It seems that Seungcheon’s family was living in a space in Yeojin’s house in exchange for borrowing 100 million won a year ago. Seungcheon accompanies Yeojin to Taeyong’s house, where he meets Juhee again.
Yeojin reveals that Seungcheon has lived inside their house because they have a debt to pay. Hearing how Yeojin degrades his life in front of Juhee, Seungcheon runs out, humiliated.
