The Flash Season 8 Episode 9 will arrive next week, titled Phantoms, and already we can tell it's going to be one heck of a mysterious story.
The long-running Arrowverse series has been enjoying somewhat of an interim period since returning from its winter hiatus, cooling down the tale in the aftermath of the Armageddon event of the fall and setting the stage for the season's main story.
We've already watched three episodes, each of which served as a single adventure to tease viewers about what's to come. And, speaking of what's to come, if you can't wait for The Flash Season 8 Episode 9, The CW has released a brand new promo for the episode.
What to Expect in The Flash Season 8 Episode 9
So, what's at the core of this? When it comes to the Fire Meta, Barry Allen has a certain purpose that he is attempting to achieve. However, determining what to do here is not an easy process. Meanwhile, Iris has a task of her own that will take her away from Central City, but to a location that should be recognizable to many people out there.
We're confident that by the end of this episode, a few things will have become clearer. Will they, or won't they? Let's just say that in the future, some of Barry's activities may have unexpected consequences - and that a few other characters, such as Frost, may become involved.
The Flash Season 8 Episode 9 Release Date
Team Flash will continue their search for the mysterious Fire Meta that resulted in the wrongful imprisonment of Season 4 meta The Hotness in The Flash Season 8 Episode 9, titled Phantoms, which will air next week. That ghostly meta, however, seems to manifest itself in S.T.A.R. Labs of all places, as the Scarlet Speedster and his allies are forced to lock down their facility in order to prevent the assailant from entering but to no avail.
Meanwhile, Iris West-Allen will be in need of a distraction and will travel to Coast City to explore a story. Will she, however, enlist the support of Sue Dearbon, who returns to the show after a long absence?
The Flash Season 8 Episode 9 airs on Mar. 30, on The CW on Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. ET.
