Showrunner Eric Kripke has confirmed that The Boys Season 4 will not be the last. Due to fan speculations that the fourth season would be the last, Kripke had to address the rumors on his Twitter page.
Eric Kripke Assures Fans The Boys Season 4 Won’t Be The Last
To put fans' concerns at ease, the showrunner stated that the season will not be the last and added that he is currently in Toronto, where The Boys Season 4 is being filmed, preparing and directing the season finale episode.

In the comment section of a previous tweet Kripke wrote, the rumors concerning the show's cancellation were brought up. Season 5 has not yet been officially announced, but Kripke is confident that it is coming.
Previously, Kripke disclosed that the title of the final episode of the fourth season is Assassination Run. In his tweet, Kripke remained tight-lipped on Season 4's premiere date, though it's likely that it will air later this year.

The third season concluded with much excitement. Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) was given a stinging diagnosis of a year or so to live as a result of his use of Compound V.
