The Boys from Amazon Prime will be back in the summer of 2022 to bring you more action, drama, and shockingly graphic violence and sexual themes.

After two years of waiting for the new season to drop, The Boys Season 3 is finally here to bring back Billy Butcher and his gang. It's about to get chaotically good again, people, so buckle up.

The Boys series and graphic novel spoilers ahead

So much happened in the last few episodes of the series. Season 2 ended with The Boys disbanding temporarily. Hughie now works for Congresswoman Victoria Neuman without knowing that Neuman was the Supe responsible for the exploding heads in the season finale. Starlight, Queen Maeve, and Kimiko took Stormfront down. Mallory's minions take Ryan away to maybe stay with another family while Starlight finally finds crucial evidence that could take Vought down.

The Boys Season 2 left us with a lot of questions we needed to be answered, and with season 3 almost here, there is a lot we have to catch up to.

We compiled all of the essential information we need to know about the upcoming season of the hit Amazon Prime Video series. From the mini-series to the new cast members, read on to learn about The Boys Season 3.

There are many loose ends in The Boys Season 2 that may hopefully be addressed in season 3, but the released trailer shows the other ways the story can go.

We may see The Boys taking Compound V to even up the fight with the Supes, The Seven, and The Paybacks. The Compound-V may explain while our main characters (Protagonists? But are they?) have new abilities like superhuman strength and laser vision. We are still not sure if this plotline will stand, but since Billy needs superpowers to go head to head with Homelander and his gang, the Compound-V storyline might just happen.

We may also see Soldier Boy wreaking havoc in the third season. Soldier Boy is a Supe who gained higher status during World War II, but his dark history has been kept a secret from the people.

Soldier Boy may also be our introduction to the Payback, allegedly the second most popular superhero team after The Seven. Soldier Boy is the leader of the Payback, and since the reported title of season 3's first episode is Payback, the producers may have also taken this angle.

Speaking of episode titles, The Boys Season 3 episode names were reportedly leaked, but there is no confirmation that these are true. Here are the predicted episodes:

  • Episode 1: Payback
  • Episode 2:The Only Man in the Sky
  • Episode 3: Barbary Coast
  • Episode 4: Glorious Five Year Plan
  • Episode 5: The Last Time to Look on This World of Lies
  • Episode 6: Herogasm
  • Episode 7: Here Comes a Candle to Light You to Bed
  • Episode 8: The Instant White-Hot Wild

Season 3 may also dive deeper into the conflicts happening between the members of The Seven. The Seven has readmitted members, shunned members, and another member in a vegetative state after a peanut allergy episode. These issues alone may merit an episode dedicated solely to The Seven.

There is no official synopsis released for The Boy Season 3 yet. What we have, however, is a youtube mini-series that bridges the events of season 2 to season 3. The Seven on 7 series was a news-style mini with seven episodes, each episode addressing canon information that fans can look out for. Seven on 7 was hosted by Matthew Edison, who plays a fictitious news anchor broadcasting on the equally fictional Vought News channel.

You can watch The Boys Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video once it premiers on June 3, 2022. You can also watch the first two seasons of The Boys on Amazon Prime Video.

The third season of The Boys already came out and fans are already ready for the next season. Luckily, we don't have to wait long - Amazon Prime has renewed The Boys for a fourth season a few days after the third season's premiere, so we can expect to hear more about The Boys Season 4 soon.

The Boys has always been a fan favorite because of how unapologetic it is, and it is good to see that the series is committed to completing the entire arc of the story. After this season, the graphic novel only has two other plotlines to follow, which means we can expect more The Boys content in the following years.
