Amazon's The Boys continues to reap in the rewards, not only gaining critical acclaim but also proving to be one of the most-watched shows on the platform. It seems like the series will be just as well-known as shows like American Gods and Good Omens, which also show on the streaming service. While no raw numbers were released, Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke said that the show has surpassed their expectations.
Salke expressed excitement for the show, noting how the R rated superhero parody managed to surpass what was expected of it and they can't wait to work on season 2. We'll have to wait and see if the show can continue its momentum but they do have plenty of comics to get from if they need some inspiration.

"We are thrilled that The Boys have surpassed our predictions for viewing in its first two weeks, and has become one of our most watched Amazon Original series by our Prime Video customers. This creates great momentum and excitement for us as we get ready for season two."
The Boys season 2 will be coming, though no release date has been revealed. It will probably take some time but we're all pretty pumped to know what happens next, especially after that amazing cliffhanger.
