After the success of the third season of The Boys, all eyes are now on its upcoming college-set spinoff series which is currently in production ahead of its target release next year. While we know that the spinoff will be R-rated just like the parent series, there are details about the project that are still being kept under wraps. Now, we finally have the official title of the series.

The official social media account of The Boys has announced the official title of the college-set spinoff series which will be Gen V. The announcement was made by the cast members in a video that they released which you can check below:

Set in a Vought International-owned college exclusively for young superheroes, Gen V is described as "an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It's part college show, part Hunger Games - with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys."

The cast includes Jaz Sinclair, Lizzie Broadway, Chance Perdomo, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Shelley Conn, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi. Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters serve as the showrunners while Eric Kripke (the showrunner of the main series) is involved as one of the executive producers.

It is great to hear that the show has announced its official title as it adds to the anticipation and it is a sign that they are now full-speed ahead on the production of the project. Let's just wait and see for more updates about the spinoff.
