The Boys: Black Noir Will be ‘Diabolical’ in the Second Season

Amazon has found a new hit with The Boys, and the show is set to have its second season premiere sometime in the middle of the year. While the Seven has proven to be a whole cast of insane super-powered psychos, it looks like one member will have the spotlight when it comes to the next season.

Talking during a panel at C2E2 (via GeekVibesNation), the cast has revealed that Black Noir is going to undergo a major change when it comes to Season 2 of The Boys. Karl Urban says:

"You're gonna love what's coming up for Black Noir. It is so good. He's thread very well through the whole series and culminates in some diabolical action which I can't get too specific about at this point. And you may even find out what his Kryptonite is."

Homelander himself Antony Starr also adds, "He's right. Black Noir, I think of all the characters from season two, I think they probably wrote to him the strongest in season two in my opinion. Black Noir is like a f***ing force in season two."

If you watched the first season, Black Noir felt like kind of a joke character, seeing as he was basically Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe. He only really had one episode which put him in the spotlight, but so far, we have no idea what really makes him tick… yet.

Personally, I'm more invested in seeing what the rest of the characters will be up to, but if the showrunners have something interesting planned for BN, then I'm all for it.

No release date has been set for The Boys Season 2, but expect it to debut on Amazon Prime Video sometime within the year.
