Luke Skywalker continues to be an integral part of the Star Wars universe and even in the MandoVerse, the Jedi Master remains one of the franchise's top-tier characters. But Luke's journey has seemingly come to a close after The Book of Boba Fett confirmed that Grogu aka Baby Yoda has chosen to turn his back on the Jedi way and reunite with Din Djarin.

Speaking of Luke, some of you may not be aware of it but the beloved character was actually played by different stand-in actors for both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett and the difference between them is night and day.

Originally serving as Mark Hamill's body double, actor Max Lloyd-Jones was replaced by Graham Hamilton in the Temuera Morrison-led show, and as unfortunate as it is for Lloyd-Jones, Lucasfilm made the right call to recast him.

A never-before-seen set photo is making the rounds on social media which sees the trio of Hamilton, Rosario Dawson, and Mark Hamill himself having a lot of fun on the set of The Book of Boba Fett. The said image which also sees the Grogu animatronic was shared by the Ahsoka actress in celebration of May the 4th.

What's hard to ignore about the image is how Hamilton seems like a splitting image of a young Hamill and it pretty much proves that he was the right guy for the job. Check it out here:

We don't know what the future holds for Luke Skywalker now that he officially parted ways with Grogu but given how his interaction with Tano garnered a favorable response from the fandom, it would be safe to assume that he'll make a cameo appearance in the standalone Ahsoka series.

Luke Skywalker's younger self will be making his return in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
