The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 6 Delayed
Unfortunately, there will be no new episode tonight and also the following week. What is the reason for this? The James Spader drama is off the air this week due to the Thanksgiving break, which is understandable. Meanwhile, NBC will air Annie Live! next week.
Episode 5 Quick Recap
The Task Force investigated the inexplicable death of a man while driving in Season 9 Episode 5. It was later discovered that the vehicle accident was not the cause of his death. Red and Dembe, however, believed the man was murdered using a high-powered energy weapon.
Dembe found that the weapon was stolen by head engineer Benjamin T. Okara. He notified the Task Force that Okara was on the lookout for the five engineers who assisted him in the creation of the weapon. Ressler and Park were able to communicate with one of the engineers.
Okara, however, attacked Park, killed the engineer, and fled. When the task team finally caught up with Okara, they discovered that Okara had assassinated those individuals, preventing the weapon from being made again. Okara then destroyed the weapon, which resulted in his death.
Meanwhile, Cooper was looking into Doug Koster's death. He felt bad about it, so he urged his wife to lie about Cooper's location on Koster's death night. He also enlisted the assistance of a memory expert in order to recall the events of the night.
Ressler also talked about Park's decision to keep her employment a secret from Peter. He also mentioned the possibility of malignancy. As a result, Park underwent another urine test, which indicated that she was pregnant and had lost the baby.

The sixth episode of The Blacklist Season 9 will air on Dec. 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET. After the mid-season break, NBC will air the latest episode.
