In addition to that, you are usually one of the first to know what is happening in an upcoming blockbuster. Tessa Thompson may be loving working on MCU projects but she's also a little nervous when it's time to do interviews. That's because the Thor: Love and Thunder star is worried she might spoil something important in the highly anticipated sequel!
Tessa Thompson has already appeared in two MCU films so meeting the press shouldn't be a big problem anymore. Still, the Westworld star admitted to ET Canada that she braces herself when it's time to discuss projects like Thor 4 since the fans are always paying attention.
"I’m so nervous now to talk about anything related to those movies because the fandom is so real and I have said I will not be a house for spoilers," Thompson said. With that out of the way, she confirmed details that have already been shared several times before.
"So I can’t say much, I think everything that we need to know has already been said, which is that she is the king of New Asgard, so she’s navigating her diplomatic duties, she’s reunited with her friend Thor and we’ve got the gang back together," Thompson stated.
There's a good reason why Tessa Thompson is trying to avoid spoilers. After all, she was the one who somehow confirmed Christian Bale's casting as Thor 4's main villain before it was officially announced. With that in mind, Thompson is being more careful about what she shares.
Thor: Love and Thunder will also star Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander, and Christian Bale. The film is scheduled for release on July 8, 2022.
