Terminator: Dark Fate's T-800 Joins Mortal Kombat 11 Roster in New Trailer

While Terminator: Dark Fate could be very good or bad, one great thing coming from the movie is seeing Arnold's T-800 appearing in Mortal Kombat 11. This has to be the character's coolest video game appearance since being a pre-order superstar in WWE 2K16 and he looks awesome to use. Does this mean Terminator: Dark Fate will be a good movie? Let's not get hasty but there's no doubt that the Terminator is an excellent choice for a Mortal Kombat 11 DLC character.

The fact that T-800 uses so much of his weapons during battle is a stroke of genius from the developers. Seeing Arnold/T-800 using time travel as a means of teleporting is also an awesome gameplay feature and should make him one of the better fighters in the game. It's also awesome seeing his cybernetic skull when the game does close-ups of damage done to characters.

Considering his mix of devastating long-range and short-range attacks, it looks like T-800 is worth the money. Granted, you can just wait for the eventual Mortal Kombat 11: Game of the Year Edition but this is proof that NetherRealm Studios cares about the product they put out. You could argue that the company cares too much about their products, with some bad stories regarding crunch time coming to light but let's not discuss that.

Also, his Fatality is wicked, sending his opponent to Judgement Day without their legs? Brilliant.

Mortal Kombat 11 T-800 DLC comes out on October 8.
