Tammy Slaton has earned support and sympathy from her fans after the last season of 1000-Lb Sisters. Several netizens have aired their disapproval of Tammy's attitude over the years because she sounded bitter and was easily angry at her sister, Ammy Slaton, in the previous seasons of their TLC. However, Tammy has won back her fans' support as she continues her weight loss journey.

1000-Lb Sisters Star Tammy Slaton Got Her Fans' Support

Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton started 1000-Lb Sisters with the same goal. However, Tammy failed to keep up with her sister. In the first season, Tammy achieved her goal weight and underwent bariatric surgery.

Amy wanted to shed the extra weight to have a baby and she achieved that. She has a 15-month-old son, Gage, and she is expecting her second child. The netizens who have been following the two stars noticed that after Amy's success, Tammy became bitter against her sibling.

However, in the last season of their TLC show, Tammy was hospitalized and was in a medically induced coma for four days. Her family thought she wouldn't make it. It happened when she decided to check into a rehab for weight loss.

Tammy survived and returned to rehab. She already lost 115 lbs in just 30 days, according to her brother, Chris. Following the update, her fans have been rallying online to encourage Tammy to continue what she's been doing. Some even offered to be her buddy if she wanted someone to talk to.

"Hey Tammy, I hope you're getting stronger every day. I have strange hours but if you ever need a friend to chat with I would love to be there for you. Plus I could always use a new friend. This world can be cruel or it can be awesome. I happen to think you're an awesome person," one commented on Tammy's tweet.

Tammy Slaton also has her fair share of critics, especially before the third season of 1000-Lb Sisters ended. In the last few episodes, Tammy can be seen partying with her friends. She ate unhealthy food, drank beer and even vaped while on oxygen.

Many were so disappointed with what they saw and said Tammy wasn't taking care of herself. In a since-deleted post on TikTok, Amy commented on one of her critics who said, "Honestly if she doesn't care about taking care of herself let her put herself in her grave. Only so much you can do."
