Tyler Hoechlin has been lording the skies as the Man of Steel for two runs of Superman & Lois but before all this, he first appeared as Derek Hale in MTV’s Teen Wolf from 2011 to 2017. Now that the series will be having a movie, the actor is confirmed to reprise the same role that he held for six seasons.
In a report from TVLine, it has been confirmed that the Superman & Lois actor Tyler Hoechlin who plays the titular Man of Steel in the series would be reprising his role as Derek Hale in the upcoming Teen Wolf: The Movie on Paramount+ where he would be appearing as the father of Eli Hale to be played by Vince Mattis.
Tyler Hoechlin played Derek Hale for six seasons on MTV’s Teen Wolf which aired from 2011 to 2017. He currently portrays the role of Superman/ Clark Kent in The CW’s Superman & Lois for two seasons already and he is already on his way to a third one after it has been renewed.
Tyler Hoechlin will be returning for Teen Wolf: The Movie along with most of the original cast such as Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Shelly Hennig as Malia Tate, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, and Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore.

Also returning for the movie are Linden Ashby as Sheriff Noah Stilinski, Orny Adams as Coach Bobby Finstock, Seth Gilliam as Dr. Alan Deaton, Melissa Ponzio as Melissa McCall, Ryan Kelley as Deputy Jordan Parrish, and Dylan Sprayberry as Liam Dunbar. Arden Cho and Dylan O’Brien who play Kira Yukimura and Stiles Stilinski will not return in the film.
Teen Wolf: The Movie will be taking everyone back to Beacon Hills as a new evil emerges calling for the wolves to go back in action.
Teen Wolf: The Movie has no release date yet. All of the six seasons of Teen Wolf are available to stream on Paramount+.
