The Super Mario Bros. Movie Releases Action-Packed Final Trailer


Universal Pictures and Illumination have released the final trailer for the highly-anticipated upcoming animated film The Super Mario Bros. Movie. A lot of fans have been looking forward to the new film adaptation of the beloved video game franchise and are hopeful that it will be a satisfying take like what the trailers promised.

In this new preview, it gave us a more action-packed look at the upcoming film as it focused more on some of the battle sequences that we will be seeing. We also saw a new look at Luigi, who is indeed taking the damsel-in-distress spot in the story. We also saw an extended glimpse at the race in Rainbow Road.

Just like the previous ones that they released, this new trailer continues to deliver the promise that it will be a fun and entertaining animated film that both fans and the general audience might enjoy. It also has a lot of easter eggs and nods to the different games in Mario history which should delight a lot of fans.

The film's synopsis read: "While working underground to fix a water main, Brooklyn plumbers Mario and brother Luigi are transported down a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world. But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi."

"With the assistance of a Mushroom Kingdom resident Toad and some training from the strong-willed ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach, Mario taps into his own power."

The cast includes Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy, Keegan-Michael Key, Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, Kevin Michael Richardson, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Charles Martinet. Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic directed the film while Matthew Fogel wrote the screenplay.
