Stranger Things Season 4 Done Filming Says Star Noah Schnapp

It's been more than two years since the third season of Stranger Things aired on Netflix and fans have been patiently waiting for the Hawkins gang's next adventure. Recently, one of its stars has shared a piece of exciting news regarding the production of the upcoming season.

According to a video clip shared by Twitter user @SThingsSpoilers, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers in the series, revealed in an interview that filming for the fourth season has finally finished. "We just finished, like last week," he said. "Yeah, we're done. We've been filming forever! And they're finally done. They're putting together another teaser, then."

Besides confirming that filming for the season has wrapped, he also revealed that we might expect another teaser soon. So far, Netflix has released three teasers regarding the upcoming season, with one of them revealing that David Harbour's character, Jim Hopper, is still alive and is imprisoned in a snowy part of Russia.

The COVID-19 pandemic definitely played a part in the long wait for the upcoming season. They have started filming before the shutdown in March 2020 and resumed several months later. In a teaser released last month, they revealed that the fourth season is set to be released sometime next year.

It is great to hear that the fourth season has finally finished filming because that means they are now deep in post-production and the wait will not take any longer. If we could take a guess, it is most likely that they will release the season by early next year. It wouldn't be surprising if they'll release it sometime before the May 31, 2022 deadline of the Emmy Awards eligibility next year.
