Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett Teaser Introduces Fennec Shand as Master Assassin

The premiere of The Book of Boba Fett is almost here and it's finally time to put the focus on the Star Wars show's coolest character. A new teaser for the Mandalorian spin-off is all about Fennec Shand and not surprisingly, it introduces Boba's new companion as "The Master Assassin!"

The new promo was shared by the official Book of Boba Fett Twitter account and it opens by introducing the Master Assassin Fennec Shand. We then hear some choice words from Ming-Na Wen's character as she reveals that "war could break out any day." However, she isn't worried since she is keeping an eye on everyone. Check it out below.

We're loving how the new Book of Boba Fett teaser is all about Fennec Shand. After all, the previous promos had already shown us enough of Boba but not enough Fennec. Needless to say, we're loving the brief yet action-packed new footage from the upcoming series.

Fennec Shand was first introduced in The Mandalorian Season 1 and although she only appeared in one episode, she was later brought back in Star Wars: The Bad Batch. The character was then confirmed to have survived in the second season of The Mandalorian. The Book of Boba Fett is the third show that features Ming-Na Wen's beloved character.

But will we finally learn more about Fennec in The Book of Boba Fett? Although the series is clearly about Boba, there is a huge chance we'll also get to see Fennec's origins. Hopefully, there will be an episode devoted to the Master Assassin in the next few weeks.

The Book of Boba Fett will consist of 6 episodes and star Temuera Morrison as the former bounty hunter. Ming-Na Wen reprises her role as Fennec Shand while Jennifer Beals will be introduced as a mysterious new Twi'lek. The Star Wars show will premiere on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.
