We already know that Ahsoka is currently in production thanks to a few updates from the cast and crew of the upcoming Star Wars series. However, most of the posts haven't shown us any photos of the characters who will appear in the Disney+ series. So it's no surprise that fans are getting hyped up over a new video posted by Rosario Dawson which offers a mysterious behind-the-scenes look at Ahsoka Tano's return!
Rosario Dawson hasn't been sharing a lot of updates on Ahsoka for some time now so fans were pleased when the DMZ star posted a new video on her official Instagram account. The video only shows Dawson's shadow on the ground but it's clear that she is in her Ahsoka costume. Check it out below.
It's only a small tease but it's great to know that production on Ahsoka is still going on. In addition to that, we're hoping that there will be an official update on the series in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
But what can we expect in Ahsoka? It was previously confirmed that new cast member Natasha Liu Bordizzo will be playing Sabine Wren in the series. In addition to that, fans got a glimpse at Ezra Bridger and Hera Syndulla in the sizzle reel presented during Star Wars Day. Although the actors playing Ezra and Hera have not yet been announced, we're hoping it will be confirmed soon.
Rosario Dawson debuted as the live-action version of Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian. Since then, the character has appeared in the spin-off show The Book of Boba Fett.
For now, Ahsoka has not yet been given an official release date. However, the new Star Wars series is expected to air on Disney+ next year.
