Star Wars Fans Rank Franchise's Current Live-Action Shows And The Results Are Agreeable

Star Wars might not have been in theaters for a while now, but the franchise’s catalog of live-action series on Disney+ has been noteworthy and enjoyable, especially for fans.

As almost everyone waits for the arrival of new Star Wars movies that are set to premiere sometime in 2025, fans are also anticipating the premiere of the upcoming shows Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, and The Acolyte.

Given that it might take some time for new Star Wars content to arrive, fans took to Reddit to discuss the current franchise’s live-action shows, Andor, The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and The Book of Boba Fett, and agreed to rank them from best to worst.

Most rankings have shown that Andor holds the title of being the best Star Wars show right now, with The Book of Boba Fett being the worst. Some have laid out their arguments for why they think so.

“Yes, it’s that good [Andor]. Starts slow and it’s a slower-paced show, but the characters, development, and the story is far better than anything we’ve seen in the past several years from Star Wars.” wrote TheNightKing11111

While Redditor ZLBuddha argued, “Every episode of Andor is better than the best episode of every other show with the possible exception of Mando S2E6. That's how big the gap is lol.”

“Same order as most people. There is a gigantic quality gap between Andor, which is on a whole other level of TV, and everything else,” said @ThatAlliLady

In March, The Mandalorian season 3 debuted its most anticipated season, only to receive mixed reactions. Meanwhile, Andor season 2 has yet to premiere and promises better storytelling than season 1.

Rotten Tomatoes gave season 3 of The Mandalorian an 86% rating, higher than other Star Wars shows. One of the factors cited for the low viewership is the sudden shift of the spotlight to Bo-Katan Kryze from Din Djarin and Grogu.

On the other hand, Andor season 1 holds one of the highest ratings on Rotten Tomatoes for a Star Wars show, standing at 96% during its premiere. Many argue that Andor is the best Star Wars story ever told right now.
