Sonic the Hedgehog Reportedly has 2 Post-Credits Scenes

There is little doubt that people are now looking forward to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie after it underwent a major redesign following some major backlash. But what exactly can we expect in the upcoming Paramount flick? A new report claims that the film will feature not one but two post-credits scenes. Interestingly, one of these scenes could tease at a possible sequel.

The report comes from Gamefragger, which cites a source who had attended the movie's premiere event. According to the source, there will be two post-credits sequences. The first scene reportedly plays in the middle of the credits while the second one shows up just a few minutes later. Unfortunately, the source did not reveal what happens in both sequences.

Not surprisingly, the report has led to several speculations about what could happen in the post-credits scenes. Some believe that it could be a gag from the film itself while others believe the sequences could tease at a possible sequel. Fans are already hoping that Sonic will be the first of many movies that will soon be a part of a major franchise. This means we might see Sonic's friends Tails and Knuckles joining the cinematic universe.

Sonic the Hedgehog is directed by Jeff Fowler and stars James Marsden, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic. The film is scheduled for release on February 14.
