Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Is A Namibian Citizen
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed their daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, on May 27, 2006. The Maleficent star gave birth in Swakopmund, Namibia, Africa.
Following her birth, the African officials offered Jolie and Pitt Namibian citizenship and a Namibian passport if they chose to do so.

The celebrity couple did, so Shiloh is a Namibian citizen. However, in 2016, the Namibian Citizenship Amendment Bill threatened her citizenship. But she has remained a Namibian because the bill was rejected.
Namibian governor Samuel Nuuyoma was enthused during Shiloh's birth and after Brad and Angelina agreed to make her a Namibian citizen.
It's "an honor for our country, Namibia," he said per People, adding that, "the birth of a baby is something very special in our African tradition."

Shiloh's name is unique, and her parents have thought much about it. Shiloh is "generally understood as denoting the Messiah, 'the peaceful one,'" based on Easton's Bible Dictionary.
However, the name could also refer to "a place of rest, a city of Ephraim, 'on the north side of Bethel,' from which it is distant 10 miles."
