She-Hulk Star Shares New Details About Marvel Hero's Transformation

There is little doubt that people are already hyped up for She-Hulk after seeing the first teaser of the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe series. After all, the brief teaser gave us our first glimpse at Tatiana Maslany playing Jennifer Walters. But how did the Orphan Black star turn into Jennifer's alter ego for the Disney+ show? Maslany confirmed that although the character is mostly CGI, she still did most of the work.

Maslany was recently a guest on the Scott Hasn't Seen podcast where she finally opened up about being a part of She-Hulk. Interestingly, the former Perry Mason star pointed out that Jennifer's green alter ego is "all CG" but she still did the whole motion-capture thing for her character.

"I'm in mo-cap the whole time," Maslany said. "I'm on platforms with mo-cap where I have a little head on the top of my head."

This sounds like a lot of what her She-Hulk co-star Mark Ruffalo had to do when he played Bruce Banner in the MCU films. Luckily, Maslany has Ruffalo to work with on the series so she could get some tips on how to handle all the mo-cap gear.

The first teaser for She-Hulk gave us a very small glimpse at Maslany's CG character. So far, everything looks great but we're hoping that we'll finally get a full teaser or trailer for the series before the end of the year.

She-Hulk will also bring back Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky aka The Abomination. Roth had previously reprised his role in Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings and is expected to play a larger role in the upcoming show.

She-Hulk has not yet been given an official release date. However, the new series is already expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
