Since the inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008, fans have lauded Marvel Studios' casting process and for the most part, the studio's choices have always been good. However, there are actors who admittedly have no idea about the characters they're playing when they sign up for their MCU projects and it's a huge pet peeve to diehard comic book fans.

Well, that doesn't seem to be an issue for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law actress Jameela Jamil who's pretty confident about her performance as the villainous Titania. That's not to say though that she doesn't encounter cynics on a regular basis and just recently, she hit back at a snarky fan who told her that she must learn her character.

The Marvel newcomer had the perfect response when the said fan tried schooling her about playing her villain role. Twitter user Frank McQuade ordered the actress to not screw up her portrayal of She-Hulk's archnemesis and to actually study the source material. Jamil responded by saying that she knows everything there is to know about her character.

She wrote: "It's already shot. I know everything about my character from the comics. The writer has written her own unique version. My job is to bring that to life." Now, that's how you put a snarky fan in his place. Check it out here:

While it's true that reading the comics is essential especially for MCU actors, it can't be denied that it's just part of the criteria Marvel Studios is looking for and at the end of the day, their performance is what matters.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is set to release on Disney+ on August 17.
