Samuel L. Jackson Confirms Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Appearance

Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury has become one of the main staples in the MCU as he is the person behind the foundation of Earth's mightiest heroes, the Avengers. Ever since he faked his death in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the character hasn't been heavily involved in the present-day MCU as he only pops up for a quick appearance or has Talos pretend to be him in the case of Spider-Man: Far from Home. Now, it looks like he will make another major presence again in the franchise as he is set to appear not just in two upcoming MCU projects, but he will actually show up in three.

During a recent interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Jackson confirmed that he recently filmed his appearances as Nick Fury in three MCU projects including Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, whose involvement hasn't been confirmed or reported yet right until now. The other two are the already-confirmed Secret Invasion and The Marvels.

"It used to take a while to make a movie. It still kind of does, but people make about two or three of them at the same time," he said. "In the Marvel universe, it's crazy. When I was in London just now, there was Ant-Man and Captain Marvel 2 was happening and we were getting ready to do Secret Invasion. So it was like three Marvel movies on one lot. So I was kinda running around from place to place."

It is great to hear that we will be seeing Nick Fury in three upcoming MCU projects and it's also impressive that Jackson was able to film all of them around the same time which makes him probably the busiest MCU actor at the moment. It makes sense that he will pop up in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania since he could show up to Scott Lang to tell him about an impending threat that he wants him to handle. It will be similar to his appearances during Phase One.

While we know now that Nick Fury will be in a lot of upcoming MCU projects, it still looms a question about what exactly he is doing now after the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the death of Tony Stark. We do know that he has an underground tactical group together with Maria Hill, but we have no idea yet about what kind of mission he is doing. For sure, we will have the answer to that once we finally see Secret Invasion and it would be interesting to find out what he'll do behind-the-scenes as the potential unknown threat looms larger.
