Robert Rodriguez in Talks to Executive Produce Frank Miller's Sin City TV Series

It has been a while since we got any updates about the planned Sin City TV series. However, a new report reveals that Frank Miller could be reuniting with the man who made the film adaptation possible. Robert Rodriguez is currently in negotiations to executive produce the show.

The report comes from Deadline, which reveals that Rodriguez is already in final talks to work on the Sin City TV series. If a deal is made, the Alita: Battle Angel director will serve as co-executive producer alongside Miller, Sin City: A Dame to Kill for producer Stephen L'Heureux, and Frank Miller Ink CEO Silenn Thomas. There is also a possibility that Rodriguez could direct one of the show's episodes.

Rodriguez is one name that fans would want to be included in the Sin City TV series. After all, he co-directed the 2005 film as well as the 2014 sequel. Both movies starred Jessica Alba as Nancy Callahan and Mickey Rourke as Marv. However, there have been speculations that the TV show could introduce new characters so it's unlikely that we'll get to see John Hartigan, Dwight McCarthy, or even Ava Lord. Nevertheless, we're already looking forward to this show.

Miller's comic series started in 1991 when the first Sin City story was included in Dark Horse Presents Fifth Anniversary Special. More stories would later appear in Dark Horse Presents #51–62. Sin City follows various characters trying to survive the hard way in Basin City.

The Sin City TV series has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
