Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World is one of the most well-beloved isekai out there; it already boasts a total of 50 episodes, with plenty of source material to keep going, if the creators so decide. So, is there going to be a Season 3 of Re: Zero, and when will it be released?

Re: Zero is an isekai anime about just what the title describes: Subaru Natsuki, a hikikomori sufferer, gets transported into another world on his way home from the convenience store. There, he tries to help Emilia, a half-elf, only to die.
To his surprise, he reawakens a few hours in the past. After a few more deaths, he understands his newfound ability; he can turn time back each time he dies. Subaru decides to use this gift to help Emilia, who is a candidate for the throne of the Kingdom of Lugunica.
Complicating matters is the pain he has to suffer after so much death, and the traumatic memories he gains along the way.
Re: Zero Season 3 Renewal Status
At the time of writing Re: Zero hasn't been officially renewed for a third season, although there's plenty of source material to suggest that another season would be possible. Season 2 of Re: Zero finished airing relatively recently, in early spring of 2021. Several anime announce new seasons immediately after a season finishes airing, especially if the new episodes can be expected soon, but several series take months, or even years to make such an announcement.
As this is an extremely popular and profitable work, that keeps selling a lot of issues, DVDs, and other merch, it has a decent chance of being renewed.

Re: Zero Season 3 Release Date
As of October 2021, Re: Zero Season 3 doesn't have a release date as it has not even been confirmed yet. The first season aired in 2016, while the first cour of the second started airing in 2020, meaning we might have to wait several years to know for sure.
On the other hand, the second season's popularity could mean that Re: Zero Season 3 will be prioritized over other projects. In any case, we probably can't expect it earlier than late 2022 or early 2023, as most studios announce their anime lineup well in advance. In any case, we'll update you with more information when an announcement is made.
