It seems that Resident Evil Village will have its solo launch as the multiplayer game in its package Resident Evil Re:Verse apparently gets delayed and will not be having its release alongside its mainline game. Albeit a quiet delay, Re:Verse would have to wait for a few more months before making its debut in public.

Although Capcom did not make an announcement about the delay as one wouldn't be able to find any word released by the game maker about Re:Verse's release date, the official site of Resident Evil Re:Verse already does confirm that the release of the multiplayer game would be on Summer 2021 and therefore, not being released alongside Resident Evil Village as what was always indicated.

As one of the highly-anticipated features of Capcom, many were disappointed to find out about the delay especially those gamers who play in the betas. While still in beta, the multiplayer project of the game maker has received mixed reception that even Re:Verse has some negative reactions after the game was revealed.

Resident Evil Re:Verse allows players to do the game with four to six players in a survival horror revenge match. Beloved characters from the game franchise could be chosen by the players along with powerful bioweapons and items to take down enemies. Even when your character dies, you could have it transformed as a bioweapon against other players of the game.

Resident Evil Re:Verse will be available on Steam, Xbox One where those with Xbox Series X/S could play this version, and PlayStation 4 where users of PlayStation 5 could play it as well.

Resident Evil Village would be released on May 7, 2021 and Re:Verse in Summer 2021.
