But despite the couple’s marriage, there have been ongoing rumors claiming that Reese Witherspoon and Toth are on the brink of a divorce.

Reese Witherspoon Planned Her Divorce From Jim Toth For Years
Us Weekly, in its Dec. 13 issue, claimed that Witherspoon has been plotting her divorce from Toth for years. But it was only recently that The Morning Show actress decided that it was time to let their relationship go.
“They decided their marriage wasn’t going to last forever and that they should have a plan for splitting up their assets that wouldn’t destroy what they built together. Instead of having to split up a huge company with dozens of employees and several divisions, they have a big pile of money and there’s plenty for everybody,” the unnamed source said.
Reese Witherspoon’s Friends Want Her To Fix Her Marriage
Friends of Witherspoon and Toth are allegedly hoping that they could resolve their issues. However, the couple already reached the end of their marriage.
“There’s always hope they can make things work, but it seems so hard to imagine. Sure, her marriage to Jim may not always be perfect, but they still have a lot of love for each other and they’re not the type to just throw in the towel,” the unnamed source said.
But if things indeed end for the couple, Witherspoon will allegedly fight for the custody of her 8-year-old son, Tennessee. The actress doesn’t have an issue with her two older children, Ava and Deacon because they are already adults.
Quibi Shutdown Did Not Affect Reese Witherspoon, Jim Toth’s Marriage
Rumors suggesting that Witherspoon and Toth are divorcing have been rife for years. But after the latter sold his company, Quibi, more publications claimed that it impacted the couple’s relationship negatively. After all, Witherspoon is the one bringing more money in their household.
According to Page Six, Quibi staff were furious at Witherspoon because she received a huge pay for voicing Fierce Queens even when the company was already losing millions.
However, it is important to note that Witherspoon wasn’t the only high-profile celebrity tapped by Quibi to appear in their brief programming. Jennifer Lopez and LeBron James also had contracts with the company.
But because of the pandemic, Quibi failed to attract users because everyone was at home. The company was producing content intended for commuters and people on the go.

Reese Witherspoon Gushes Over Jim Toth
Throughout the years, Witherspoon has said nothing but positive things about her husband. In 2016, the actress said that Toth is an incredible man.
“He’s very patient and funny with the kids. And he really encourages them to see the humor in life,” Witherspoon told People.
A source also said that Witherspoon immediately became smitten with Toth after they met at a party. After all, the latter was more mature than her.
“The relationship happened very fast. I think for the first time in a very long time, she feels as if she’s with a grown-up,” a source said.
