Queen Elizabeth Will Reportedly Delay Appointment Of New Colonel Of The Grenadier Guards
Prince Andrew was the colonel of the Grenadier Guards. However, he lost the title when the Queen stripped him of his military honors and royal patronages after he was accused by Giuffre of sexual assault following reports associating him with Jeffrey Epstein, Express reported.
When the Duke of York still held the title, he played an important role during the celebration of the Queen's birthday in 2018 and 2019. He rode by his mother's side, representing the regiment in the parade.
The 96-year-old British monarch is expected to appoint a new colonel of Grenadier Guards before the Trooping the Colour. However, she decided to delay it to spare her alleged favorite son from embarrassment.
So, the Grenadier Guards will instead be represented by Major General Roland Walker. Major Walker is a senior British Army officer currently serving as Deputy Chief of the Defense Staff.
Queen Elizabeth Also Excludes Prince Andrew From The Royals Who Will Accompany Her On The Balcony
Prince Andrew is not expected to be seen during the Trooping the Colour. Aside from losing his role as the colonel of the Grenadier Guards, he will not be making a balcony appearance.
Prince Andrew, just like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, had also stepped back from his royal duties. The trio was all stripped of their royal patronages and military affiliations.
Also, since the Queen decided to limit the royal attendance to only the working royals, the three of them didn't make the cut. Prince Andrew's daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, will also not be making a balcony appearance, unlike the previous years.

"After careful consideration, the Queen has decided that this year's traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd of June will be limited to Her Majesty and those members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen," a Buckingham Palace spokesman said in a statement obtained by People.
The royals who will join the Queen on the balcony include Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, to name a few.
