Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the members of the royal family were put in an uncomfortable place when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat for an interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year. Royal expert and biographer Duncan Larcombe warned the royals that it might happen again.
Queen Elizabeth Can't Stop Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that the Queen was very kind to them. However, they might cause her another heartbreak if they would do another high-profile interview. Even if they didn't say anything against the Queen, putting the other members of the royal family in a bad light could affect the monarchy, which the Queen has protected all her life.
However, their sit-down interview with Oprah for a CBS special might not be the last. Larcombe said he could see the couple doing it again.
"I really wouldn’t be surprised if they’re planning another Oprah interview. Harry and Meghan have caused chaos and I suspect there’s no stopping them," he told Closer magazine.
"I can totally see more of these high-profile, Hollywood-style interviews with A-list TV hosts happening. Especially if there’s lots of money being offered for it. Harry will need a promotion for his memoir, due to be released next autumn, too. Another Oprah interview, if it’s anything like the last, would surely push the royals to breaking point."

Queen Elizabeth II responded to the allegations of racism and lack of support, saying they took them "very seriously" and it would be addressed by the royal family "privately," USA Today reported.
"The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning," Buckingham Palace said in a statement. "While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members."
