Queen Elizabeth has been relying on Prince Charles to help her with ensuring that the British monarchy is living up to the demands of the times.
Following the queen’s recent health issues, she reportedly relied on her heir even more by passing on some of her royal duties and engagements to Prince Charles.
Prince Charles has been waiting to ascend the throne for decades. And now that it’s only a matter of years before he’s crowned king, it’s wrong timing that Prince Charles is embroiled in a series of controversies.
Last month, he was accused of being a racist following the comments that he made regarding his grandson’s skin color. And even though royal author Christopher Andersen tried to clear his name after exposing him in his new book, royal fans couldn’t help but be upset with him for being insensitive.
Queen Elizabeth Forced To Damage Control Following Prince Charles’ Racist Remarks
In Touch Weekly, in its Dec. 20 issue, claimed that Queen Elizabeth is fuming mad at her eldest son because of the comments that he made. And the monarch is also upset with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because they were the ones that made the allegations earlier this year.
Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex cleared the queen and Prince Philip’s name at the time, the other members of the royal family were dragged into the scandal, most especially Princess Anne.
“She obviously went to work to do damage control and quizzed everyone in the family or tried to. But in the end, because people all remembered things differently, she just issued a statement that was very telling. It said, ‘Some recollections may vary.’ People in the family are seeing things from different perspectives,” Andersen told the publication.
Prince Charles’ Future As King In Jeopardy
An unnamed source also said that regardless of whether Prince Charles is really a racist or not, he shouldn’t have commented on Archie’s skin color.
“There’s still no definitive proof of anything. Meghan and Harry still aren’t talking. Charles shouldn’t have made a comment about Archie’s skin tone, period. He’s spent his whole life waiting to take the throne, and the racism allegations may have put his future as king in jeopardy,” the unnamed source said.
Recordings Of Prince Charles' Comments To Be Released?
The unnamed source added that it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out because there are microphones and cameras in every room at the royal palaces.
“Harry and Meghan’s engagement announcement was a huge press event – mics were everywhere. So, many believe Charles’ comment was caught on tape. Just because a book makes a pretty sound argument doesn’t mean this will all be swept under the rug now and forgotten. While it would still be Harry’s word against Charles, it would be pretty damning. Sadly, the worst has yet to come for the royal family,” the unnamed source concluded.

Did Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Lie About Their Racism Allegations?
Before Prince Charles was accused of being a racist, Prince Harry and Markle suffered several blows after they were exposed as liars. Markle was forced to admit her involvement in Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand’s book, Finding Freedom, after her former staff shared details of the emails she and her husband sent.
Shortly after, royal fans and critics couldn’t help but question the accuracy of Prince Harry and Markle’s revelations during their interview with Oprah Winfrey in March.
And since it’s difficult to confirm or deny whether they lied about anything during that interview, there’s reportedly a possibility that their racism allegations aren’t also accurate.
A spokesperson for Prince Charles also called the claims a work of fiction and said that they don’t need to comment on it, according to Metro UK.
There’s also no indication that the queen is upset with Prince Charles because she has not released a statement following the racism scandal.
